Nevada City and Grass Valley trade off on hosting the annual 4th of July Parade, with even number years in Nevada City and odd numbered years Grass Valley. This year, the parade will be held in Nevada City.

A free fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m. at the interchange of Dorsey Drive and can be viewed from various locations around Grass Valley.

Find a lot to park in and enjoy the free show. The Grass Valley Downtown Association will also be hosting at Family Pancake Breakfast from 8-10am; and a Mill Street 4th of July Celebration 5-9pm.
